ORIGINS OF MICROBLADING
Eyebrow microblading goes by a few different names such as, microstroking, micropigmentation, eyebrow embroidery, eyebrow feathering, and 3D eyebrows. No matter the name, the procedure of microblading eyebrows is relatively new here, but it has been popular in Asia and Europe for roughly 25 years. You can expect that now that it has reached the United States, the technique has improved quite significantly since its origin!
BYE-BYE BROW ROUTINE!
Not only do microblading results look amazingly natural, but also they require no daily upkeep–so kiss that daily eyebrow routine goodbye. Microbladed brows are, however, semi-permanent, lasting typically 9-18 months depending on skin type and lifestyle. A touch up 12-18 months later is recommended to keep the color looking vibrant and the microbladed strokes looking crisp.
Semi-permanent? You might think that doesn’t seem worthwhile, but in fact, that’s the benefit of microblding! Consider how skin changes with age and how eyebrow trends can differ with time, you can always alter the shape and color to adapt to your changing skin or eyebrow trends–and that added bonus of never having to worry about that permanent faded color like grandma. Wake up beautiful with your newly microbladed brows!
